21 years of innovation and education
From a single campus in Mogadishu in 2005 to a network of eleven campuses serving communities across Somalia.
Rooted in Mogadishu, growing with Somalia
Plasma University was founded in Mogadishu in 2005 with one aim: to give young Somalis access to higher education that leads to real careers. Over two decades the university has opened campuses in Hiiraan, Galgaduud, Mudug, Bay, Middle and Lower Shabelle and Lower Jubba, and an online campus for students who study from home or work.
Today thousands of students study health sciences, computing, business, engineering, the social sciences and agriculture, and our graduates serve in hospitals, ministries, banks, NGOs and companies across the country.
